Fun - Friendship - Flowers

The Falkirk Floral Art Club was formed in 1960 to actively encourage interest in the arrangement of flowers. Today the club has a membership of approximately 50 members who share an interest in flowers and gardens.

We are a friendly, informal group who are always looking to welcome new members or visitors.

No experience of flower arranging is necessary!

We mostly meet on the 1st Monday of the month from 7.15pm to approximately 9pm, in the Lesser Town Hall, when we are able to sit, relax and watch the guest demonstrator create 6 arrangements while recounting entertaining stories. These arrangements are raffled at the end of the evening when a cup of tea and a biscuit is available.

Come along if you would like to join us (bring a friend and/or relative with you). There is no need to join on the first night - Come along for a couple of months as a visitor and decide.

Membership: £28 per year - Open to anyone interested in flowers.
Visitors: £4.00 per night.

Members have the opportunity to attend 6 practical classes throughout the session to learn new skills and keep up-to-date with new trends. These cost £1 per class. The tutors are Marie Rutherford and Isobel Hamilton who are very friendly, make learning fun and help everyone who comes along. - No need to be apprehensive - Begineers are very welcome. All that is required is a bunch of flowers, some greenery and a container - It doesn't have to be expensive. Everyone comes away from the class with a nice floral arrangement.
